Shipping Methods and Duties
We offer several international shipping options. You can choose the shipping method that best suits your preferences and needs from the international courier services listed below.
Please note that some shipping methods may not be available depending on your destination country or region.
■ DHL
International shipping via DHL Express. This is a DAP (Delivered at Place) shipping method. Customs duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and other import-related charges are not included in the shipping fee. You are responsible for paying any applicable import charges.
These charges will be billed directly to you by the shipping carrier after your order has been shipped. They are not additional shipping charges requested by us. Please do not confuse these charges with additional fees from our store.
■ DHL (Duties & Taxes Included)
International shipping via DHL Express. This is a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping method. All applicable customs duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and other import-related charges are included in the shipping fee.
Therefore, when you select this shipping method, you will not be charged any unexpected import-related fees after completing your order.
■ ECMS
International shipping via ECMS Express. Compared with DHL, delivery generally takes approximately 7–14 days longer, but this option is available at a lower shipping cost.
Customs duties, taxes, and other import-related charges are not included. As with the DHL option, any applicable import charges will be billed directly to you by the shipping carrier after your order has been shipped.
■ ECMS (Duties & Taxes Included)
International shipping via ECMS Express. Compared with DHL, delivery generally takes approximately 7–14 days longer, but this option is available at a lower shipping cost.
All applicable customs duties, taxes, and other import-related charges are included in the shipping fee. Therefore, when you select this shipping method, you will not be charged any unexpected import-related fees after completing your order.
■ EMS
Your order will be shipped via Japan Post's international Express Mail Service (EMS).
For shipments to the United States, EMS is provided on a DDP basis, meaning applicable import duties and taxes are included.
For shipments to destinations other than the United States, customs duties and other import taxes are generally the customer's responsibility.
■ International Air Packet
Your order will be shipped via Japan Post's international postal service, formerly known as International ePacket Light.
This service offers lower shipping costs than EMS, but delivery generally takes approximately two weeks from shipment.
Please note that this shipping method is not available for orders weighing more than 2 kg.
As a general rule, customs duties and consumption tax are exempt when the total value of the goods plus shipping costs is approximately JPY 16,666 or less. For orders exceeding this amount, customs duties and other import charges may apply after your order has been completed.
